Museum Het Schip's Green Paradise Amsterdam Pop-up

A commission to create new work for Het Schip Museum, for their pop-up exhibition Green Paradise Amsterdam in collaboration with Cultuurdorp Westergas, as an extension of The Worker's Paradise: World Garden Cities, on view until July 27, 2025. Three Amsterdam-West artists draw inspiration from The Worker's Paradise: World Garden Cities and were asked to respond to the question: What does the green city mean to you? The resulting pop-up exhibition, featuring also works by Michiel de Jong (Hout &amp; Mos) and Kim Blekkenhorst, was on view February 1 to March 2, 2025 at the Meterhuis. From the lockers at House of Stories, Mezrab

Breathing new life and love into Mezrab’s lockers with some of earth’s original storytellers, not one singing the same song.

This durational process honours the natural objects which have been gathered over the years from different environments, within Westerpark and beyond. I conduct their stories across the surface of each panel to create a score of dipped ink markings.

You are cordially invited to tread lightly. A living installation of mycelium with accompanying experimental short film.

A handwritten and illustrated thesis about fig trees, enclosing matters concerning our living planet and the human spirit, ripe and ready to be shared with the world.
